Make a Splash...READ!!

Remember to read this summer and mark spots on your game board. In the fall, return your game board to your classroom teacher. Have fun reading!

Our new Little Free Library!

Thanks to the students at Old Donation School, we have our very own Little Free Library located on Cathedral Drive in front of our School. This free library is stocked with books especially chosen to be motivating, inspiring, and fun for our kids – and the library itself is a piece of neighborhood art!

We welcome you and your family to enjoy either Little Free Library! Here’s how:

*Bring your children to get books from the LFL. Taking one or two at a time ensures the whole community can participate. Tell your children these books were selected for them by older kids!

*The books cannot be stolen – they’re free! – but it’s a good idea to return them for others to read and enjoy.

*Consider restocking the library from time to time with books your children would like to share.

*Talk to your children about your favorite childhood books and how reading has enriched your life.

Students will be having classroom discussions and participating in activities related to digital citizenship. There will be contest winners for best dressed!
