The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

Come visit our Media Center at Pembroke Meadows. Our school media center is a print and technology-rich environment filled with active, authentic student learners. In collaboration with classroom teachers the library media specialist must develop student-centered programs so that all students become skilled users and producers of information.
Goals of our media program include:
- providing an extensive, well balanced collection of materials to meet the curricular and personal needs and interests of the school population
-providing resources representing diverse and cultural perspectives
-providing guidance and instruction to become the effective lifelong users of information
-providing flexible access to the resources of the library media center, to meet the immediate needs of individuals and small groups, and to accomodate large groups when needed
-providing leadership in collaborating with faculty for the incorporation of information skills into the curriculum supporting and promoting existing and emerging technologies.

We have a fall and spring Book Fair, two Accelerated Reader stores, and reading month.
