PMES MUSIC PROGRAM: 

All classes have music one time a week.  They go to music in our beautifully renovated music room.  Kindergarten attends music for 30 minutes, and all other grade levels attend for 40 minutes.  Our music program follows the Virginia Beach City Public Schools Curriculum, which I would be happy to share with anyone who wishes to see it.

Some of the topics we cover are easy ideas like loud/soft, fast/slow, voice types, and basic instruments in the lower grades, to reading music, playing recorder, and studying music from other cultures, in the upper grades.  All levels do music celebrating our holidays.
